History
At the Snows Court entrance, the original dwellings were demolished. In the 1950's it was two-story timber house with a second floor bay window that extended over the access road. No. 933 and the adjoining three buildings were all built in 1979.

1881 - Mathias Walsh, died, age 27 and his funeral took place at the house, Dec. 13, 1881 (Evening Star, Dec. 12, 1881, p. 5)
1882 - Vacant and listed for sale for $1,500. (The Critic and Record, May 1, 1882, p.2)
1890 - Two White women residents offer their services as a cook and nurse/chambermaid (Evening Star, May 15, 1890, p. 2 and Critic and Record, Oct. 7, 1890, p.3).
1893 - Annie H. and James O'Day/O'Dea. (City Directory) Annie is listed in the City Directory as a dressmaker and James is a gardener. Anne dies at home in 1894 and the funeral takes place at St. Stephens Church (Evening Star, Oct. 10, 1894, p. 7). James dies at age 90 in 1915 and names his daughter, Annie as executrix and leaves her the premises; the rear portion of the lot is left to his niece, Catherine Counselman; James also leaves $200 to St. Stephen's Catholic Church (Evening Star, June 21, 1916, p. 24)
1905 - N. Lee operates general store from dwelling and advertises in the Herald Times selling coal, ice and fuel.
1906 - Mrs. Robert Burke shares she will receive guests on Jan. 1 (Wash. Post. p.7)
1908 - Patrick J. and Nora Carr. Their infant child dies (Evening Star, Aug. 4, 1908, p. 7) In 1908, The Washington Post shows an ad for a young German woman (to go home at night) to work at the residence (Dec. 1, p.13)
1909 - Batholemew T. Noone (son of the late Thomas and Ellen Noone, and husband of Annie Noone (nee O'Connor) dies on May 12th (Wash. Herald, May 14, p.2)
1914 - Victoria Fletcher, age 6, dies (listed in the "Colored" Death Notices section, (Wash. Herald, Aug. 22, 1914, p. 12). An 8-yr-old "sound black mare" is listed for sale by owners of the house on March 20, 1914.
1917 - A small store at the rear of the property or 25th St. is listed for rent (Evening Star, Mar. 25, p. 54).
1921 - Bridget Ryan dies at age 75. (Evening Star, April 1, 1921)
1932 - The residence is listed for rent in the "coloreds" ad section of the Evening Star (Oct 2, p. 77) in an ad listing it as having 6 bedrooms and a bath for $35.75 a month.
1934 - Resident Anne Lee dies, age 65. She is the mother of Norman, Nelder, William and Peter D. Lee, Ida Gross (Evening Star, Apr 11, 1934, p. 9) Peter Lee dies suddenly in 1952. (Evening Star, Jun 28, p.6)
1938 - Deed transfer issues are posted in the Evening Star by attorney George N. O'Connor on (Dec. 17, p. 31)
Recollections
In 1890, The Evening Star May 15th paper advertises for two respectable white girls to serve a cook and a nurse or chamber maid to work at the house.
